He's found that a simple style is more effective.

overall personality;; "Dick saw Robin as being a thrill. It's probably why he outgrew it. Jason saw it as a game. It's probably what got him killed. But... Tim... I have to hand it to the boy... He wants to be the world's greatest detective. And from what I've seen so far... he will be someday." - Batman
Tim loves being Robin and wouldn't give it up for anything. Scratch that. Tim loves being Robin but the situation of his friends and loved ones comes before his alter ego; he'd gladly give it all up if it meant protecting the ones he loves. Tim is very serious about his role as the Boy Wonder and does not take it lightly when someone criticizes anyone of the Bat family.
Although he is very serious, Tim is still a goofy teenager. He enjoys the same things that normal boys his age enjoy: baseball, video games, pizza. He loves his best friends, Conner and Bart, and always enjoys getting into crazy antics with them, even if he usually has to cover up for them. Tim is very loyal, after all, and friends mean a lot to him.
Tim is a very driven person and never gives up on something he truly wants. He's not usually one to hold a grudge but trust doesn't always come easy with him. Tim's a bit vulnerable that way: he offers himself to someone who he trusts completely.
Before Tim even took up the position of Robin, Tim was always a great problem solver; he himself discovered the true identity of Batman. These sort of skills are what caught the attention of Bruce in the first place and have not only helped him glide through his carrier as Robin, but his carrier as a super hero.

history;;Tim Drake was born into the Drake family on July 19th. Janet and Jack and their new son, Timothy, lived happily for many years in Gotham. Tim's father, a prominent business man, often worked closely with Bruce Wayne. As a young child, Tim marveled at the man and often watched from afar and followed news stories; until, that was, he discovered a new interest. The Batman. Tim grew up to love the hero and had a great admiration for the caped crusader's side kick, the boy wonder.
Timothy Drake attended the circus the night the Flying Graysons were murdered. A few years later he saw footage of Batman and Robin apprehending the Penguin. Robin performed a quadruple somersault, a rare maneuver that only Dick Grayson and a few others could perform. After learning Grayson was the ward of Bruce Wayne, he came to the conclusion that Wayne was Batman.
Tim continued to follow the adventures of the Dynamic Duo, as well as Grayson's becoming Nightwing and Jason Todd succeeding him as Robin. After Jason's death, Timothy became convinced that a replacement was needed.
When Nightwing left the Titans for a short time in order to find himself, Tim followed him and was able to convince him that Batman needed help. The two had a conversation, but were captured by Two-Face.
Tim donned the costume of Robin and with the help of Alfred Pennyworth, was able to rescue them. Batman accepted Tim as the new Robin on a trial basis. He was trained over several months, first by Alfred, then Batman, and finally Nightwing. After defeating the Scarecrow, Robin traveled to Europe where he was instructed further.
The Obeah Man captured Tim's parents during a trip to the Caribbean. Janet died and Jack was left with paralysis despite Batman's help. He required the care of a nurse/physical therapist, Dana Winters who later became his step mom.

Nessa's mind retraced it's footsteps throughout the day. She sighed heavily as she crossed her legs. Nessa was sitting in her old wheel chair. Though she despised the chair with a passion, she liked to keep it around and sit upon it as if it were a throne that represented how far she had come in her life. Although her life had just been reborn, she still had memory of her entire history. The day was a weary one for Nessa. Some how, one of Elphaba's flying monkeys had gotten loose in her chamber and threw her things all about the room. If it hadn't been Chistery, Elphie's favorite, she would have murdered the monkey in a heart beat.
On top of that, today was the day that her and Elphaba decided to give one of their most loyal subjects a special mission. The girls in truth had no idea what they were doing to the poor man. Like everyone else, they thought the man cared for no one. Either way, it wouldn't have mattered; nothing would come in the way of the Witches plans when they were formed. Not to mention it was in no way safe to be around one of the witches when one of their plots went wrong.
A booted foot bobbed up and down as Nessarose inspected every perfectly almond-shaped finger nail. Each one was perfect until she came to the middle finger on her right hand. She glowered at a speck of dust underneath the nail. She pursed her lips in one of her common insane fashions and then quickly removed the flaw. One, two, check, she repeated in her mind as she quickly looked over the last two fingers and held out the hand it's self to look over it at a distance. She giggled at herself as she folded her hands in her lap and continued to wait for Ten.
Truth be told, Nessa was getting impatient and the Wicked Witch of the East was not a pretty sight when impatient (or angry or sad for that matter.) Elphaba had left for some "important business" long ago and left Nessarose to deal with Ten by herself. What ever is more important than this right now should surely include me, Nessa thought. Of course, the little sister wanted a big chunk of what ever glory Elphie was getting. Nessa was a power hog and a glory hog as well. Everyone knew of how she was the more favorable during the Witches' childhood but they both learned to put their past behind them and they both swore to equally share what ever glory and or shame was to come to them. Of course, just because they said that doesn't mean it'll happen. Sisters will be sisters and witches will be witches.
Just as Nessa's impatience was about to boil over, the doors opened and the street lights flooded in, casting an large silhouette across the room. Nessa pursed her lips once more and held her head high. "Where have you been?" Her voice boomed intimidatingly across the room. "I hope you know you've kept me waiting. Elphaba's not hear right now by the way." She paused and gave a little chuckle that was barely audible. "Just me," she said in a childish tone that was toying with the fact that she was pissed. Trying to have a little fun for the day, Nessa wanted to hide the fact that she was angry, she had a little idea to see if Ten could pick up a hint and be willing to risk his head. After all, the Witches were choosing him for a very important task and she had to test him in some way.
Nessarose tapped her finger against her hand as they rested calmly in her lap. Slowly, she straightened her back as she read the man over. Oh, she was going to have fun with this. She smiled maliciously and leaned back in her chair as the evil thoughts raced through her head again.
